Maha Shanti School of Yoga 21-days Yoga Teacher Training will ensure participants become proficient in both practicing and teaching Yoga. It takes place on Isla Mujeres, an Island in the Caribbean of Mexico.
Our training is comprehensive and thorough, includes asanas, safely assisting, Yoga physiology, the chakras, Yoga philosophy with sacred Yoga texts, pranayama and breathing, Yogic diet, meditation, Kirtan and Satsang.
We teach techniques and tools you can use for a lifetime to deepen your practice and navigate the art of teaching others.
Our daily schedule starts at 6 am with meditation, followed by a series of Asana Classes and workshops until 7:30 pm. There will be time for meals, self study, journaling and proper relaxation.
During our immersion, we ask our participants to maintain a vegetarian diet and withdraw from stimulants such as coffeine, Internet and Media, Television, as well as alcohol and drugs. Although participants are asked to practice abstinence, the benefits will far surpass the efforts on this journey within.
As every budget and needs are different, participants are required to provide their own boarding and lodging.
